It’s an old drug, that may soon have a new

It turns out ketamine, an anesthesia medication, may also be useful in treating major depression
in patients needing rapid relief from their symptoms.
The results of a small trial, involving less than 100 patients, showed that ketamine helped
the majority of the participants within 24 hours, and the results lasted as long as seven
