Hi everybody, I’m Dr. Joseph Cipriano and today we have our patient here. You actually came all the way from Indiana. Yes Indianapolis. Yes in the city as we were talking about. I have family here, you know, I love the South. I’m a southern girl for sure. Yeah, alright, so I know you told me about last time you got adjusted was about a year ago. Yeah, maybe a little over a year, but around that time. Then so now though today you’ve been having some neck shoulder issues and then also low back. Yeah mid to lower back. Yeah, like I mentioned I carry all my stress right here. I’m always at a desk as well so I kind of you know scrunch and I’m kind of compressed. I feel like I just need to be like an accordion I need to be stretched out. You came to the right place. Yeah, absolutely. All right let me have you stand up Okay, I want you to look all the way up to the ceiling for me, any pain, tenderness, pulling? No. Good look down to floor for me any issues with that? I feel a pulling. Okay back to center and then bring one ear to one shoulder any issues with that? Just stiff. Okay to the other side. Same thing And then if you rotate and look over on the side No pain just stiff, you can tell I just need some pulling. Let me have you bend forward at the waist for me. Any issues with that? Just tight and a little pain. A little pain just tight. Does the pain stay in the lower back? Or does it travel? It doesn’t travel it just stay in the lower back. And can you lean on either side. It’s just tight a little pain in the lower back. And then if you rotate. No pain just tightness Let me have you lay face down Sorry my makeup. You are completely fine Okay So we are going to scan the spine. We’re going to go from the cervical spine here and going all the way down checking the leg length and we’ll check the symmetry from the right side to the left side. So I’m going to just palpate we’re gonna be feeling the spine the surrounding tissue. Let me know if anything is tender to the touch A little tender Okay Okay, any pain over that right SI joint? Not really, just tightness and a little discomforting Okay, what about directly over the sacrum? Not bad And over the left SI joint? A little bit A little bit there, okay Check the leg length, okay, so she pulls a little bit short on the left side not by much. Hips look balanced. So we’re gonna start up top between that cervical thoracic junction here. We’re gonna start right here, T2 on that left side. There you go drop down to the T3 on the right. Take a deep breath in and exhale out. One more time deep breath in and out. Okay, still pulling a little bit short on that left side. All right what I want you to do now, I want you to sit up on the table for me and straddle it, one leg on each side. Okay now this one, we’re gonna bring one arm up and the other one over here. And we’re gonna rotate you that way. Look over the shoulder for me. Lay face down again for me. Okay From here we’re going to drop down to the sacrum. I’m gonna stabilize right here I want you to raise your right leg up as high as you can. Any pain, tenderness, tightness? Just tight. Okay. Okay, relax, raise the left for me. How does the left side feel? It’s less pain. Okay. So the right was a little harder? I want you to just scoot down about two inches on the table for me first. Perfect right there and cross the right leg over the left leg. Table is gonna come up from below you And bend just this knee And I’ll bring my hand right under Let me have you raise that right leg up for me. Do you notice a difference? Yes Let’s re-check that leg And it’s looking very good now. I’m just going to palpate it and push. How’s that lower back feel now? Any pain when I push in? This area is like tender. Okay lay on your side facing me please. Good good, I’m gonna bring the shoulder back. So we’re gonna go back like that. Yep Good flip to the other side Good There you go lay on your back for me. I want you to relax your legs for me so we’re going to do leg pulls here so you’ll feel a release from the ankles, the knees going to the hips. Relax It’s real nice. Yeah Okay, let me have you stand up. And come all the way up I’ll have you stand right here And your arms up Bring your hands behind mine here Okay, so I’m gonna lean you back just a little bit squeeze your elbows together. A little tighter. I’m gonna have you take a seat right here. Yes please. Yep, have you take a deep breath in then exhale out. So now what you came here for. Yes, I’m excited. Now we’re gonna do the Y-Strap You’re gonna have to help me get over your hair. Okay! Okay This is core workout right here. Good, head down. Relax, your hands go right on your stomach. Good. So with the Y-Strap you’re gonna feel that decompression from up top going all the way down. Perfect and relax, deep breath in and out. That just felt like you just birthed another or something Oh my gosh. I’m trying to think of the words to try to explain this. I heard everything. So did we. Oh yeah we did. That felt amazing, it felt better than watching it. Because you came from quite a ways. Yes 8 and half hours. So was it worth drive? 100% I’m gonna do it again. How are you feeling? I feel great I feel like I wanna come back next week. That feels really good I mean It felt good I’ve never had that done before so I guess I’m just tryna take it in it just literally just I was so compressed from just like sitting down and you know, like the rest of the world being on the phone and just being so compressed is what I felt like and I felt like that just completely decompressed everything. That’s exactly what you told me when you came in. Yeah, so You know just put years and you’re sitting at a desk hunched over. And this just whoosh. It did, it felt so good, I could cry right now Let’s way too good to mess up. Yeah Let me have you stand up. So granted I know you weren’t in crazy amounts of pain but how’s the neck and the shoulders? I just feel relieved is the best way to describe it. It’s not tense and it doesn’t feel as tight as before. How’s the back? It feels great. I don’t even want it like I don’t want to slouch, I don’t want to mess it up. Yeah, it just feels great. Yeah, so what would you have to tell anyone out there? Or thinking about doing this. Yeah, I would definitely recommend it. I feel like it completely just stretched me out. I feel very I’m somber right now just very loose very relaxed. It’s worth the drive, it’s worth the flights or the bus ride the train ride I would definitely come and book your appointment with them for sure. Are you a paid actress? No?
